I don’t know exactly what happened. The app was running great and now it’s not have been using the service for at least a year or so if not longer there appears to be some issue with I’m not able to filter by system like I used to nor can I filter properly

I sold a gift card and have a balance of 18.48. And in the 7 day hold they placed they increased the withdrawal amount limit to 50 dollars. And they not refuse to let me withdraw my money. They have started ignoring me as well when I open tickets and leave me on read on Instagram. So I have lost my money and gift card. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM

I would love to have extra characters for the titles on my post on the app like you can on the browser version. Same with the copy and pasting of your posts. You have the option to on the browser version. You also have the copy function on the app but it doesn’t work, you just get an error. Just wish the app was up to par with the website. Other than that I have no real complaints about the app. Support is almost always helpful and pretty quick to respond. Not having a few key feature that the browser version has is the only reason for my 4 star rating.

The app will not allow messages it just says disabled and unauthorized for me and everyone i know that uses gameflip, unless you go to a browser and use the website you cannot message

When you make your first sale it will take you a full week to get your money, but once you have that you can legitimately purchase other content from the store. If you are in North America you'll find the gift card selection limited, and many cards are being sold at higher than retail price. If you are looking for a quick sale or a great savings, you probably will be disappointed, but if you are just looking to unload an unneeded gift card and don't mind losing some of the money on the exchange, it'll work. In my case, I turned a $25 PlayStation card into a $20 Steam card but it took a few weeks to do.

Now you’re lucky to find any type of discount on ANY game from other markets. Defeats the purpose of the entire platform.

A sincere advice is that you should not use this application. Try it and you will see that it is not worth the money you pay. The application just wants to take money from sellers and buyers by all means.

I’ve had luck with Jimmy John’s and Amazon, but 4 AMC gift cards were drained after I confirmed they had value, approved the payment, then were empty by the time I wanted to use them… buyer beware, you may get scammed and have little recourse.

They take about 11 days to finish my dispute and the almost always take the buyers side even though I had all the evidence and good reviews .. Don’t recommend this app

Love Gameflip for my daughters virtual wishlist items,they always have the lowest prices compared to other sites that sell them, and I don’t have to worry about not getting my items with their protection policy.

I’ve been using Gameflip to buy things for a while now and it’s been an awesome money saver. Elden ring gear, Fortnite bundles, call of duty skins and also various gift cards. And I’ve even been making some money from doing gta heists for people too. Honestly Gameflip is the only app I even do my shopping on and it’s probably gonna stay that way.

So I’m not someone who uses many digital marketplaces but Gameflip has been very nice. I can find the gift cards I need and I save quite a bit. A few dollars off $50 gift cards adds up overtime so I’ve been noticing it, especially recently. The sellers can send the codes instantly because of Gameflip’s system and I really appreciate that. They give you a few days to make sure your code works or you get your money back. I really enjoy using it and recommend it to others.

Gameflip charges too much for transactions. It also takes to long to credit an account with available funds. They make money on the “float”, meaning they collect the funds from whatever source a person has either sold an item or is funding their acc and first apply it for up to (or more than) 10 days. They make money on the interest gathered on those funds during that time (“float”) period. Multiple that float by all the transactions they are occurring on Game Flip and you can see how they profit from a person’s funds. NOT COOL!

Started out being a good app very reasonable but now fees for buyers and sellers are high a $5 items is $7 with fees not worth it anymore

Attempted to make a purchase through Apple Pay. They locked it to make me “verify,” myself even though all information was already present in Apple Pay. I sent them 4 photos of my passport, me with my passport, a written time stamp, etc. they said they refuse to take federally issued passports as valid ID. Now I have to cancel my purchase all together after 2 wasted days. Save yourselves the headache

I have probably spent over a few thousand USD on this app . I frequently log in via PC and mobile . However whenever I do such a thing it I have to verify every single time via code or phone number which is very annoying . It does not even make sense . If I logged in via mobile why do I have to verify my identity via a code within the app. I’m already on the account . If it was compromised the hacker could also get the code from the app. Makes zero sense and a huge nuisance .

Do not use this company. They make you jump through a ridiculous amount of hoops to verify identity to purchase a game. Stick to eBay or Facebook marketplace.

Beware of stolen and/or fraudulent gift card sellers using GameFlip! I bought a Target gift card from someone on GameFlip and when I tried to checkout my purchases on the Target website I got an error saying that the gift card that I was using was invalid/fraudulent. I lost all of the money I spent on the gift card through GameFlip. People are using gift card access code generators on GameFlip apparently and ripping people off! Luckily the gift cards I bought for Amazon and PlayStation Store did work although I suspect that they were obtained illegally/fraudulently and that Amazon and PlayStation Store were bilked by the sellers here on GameFlip. Also, they need to fix this app as soon as possible. Every time I try to access my messages or buy something it takes me to the sign in prompt even though I have already signed in! It is so frustrating I decided to open the GameFlip website from the Safari web browser. Also this app is poorly formatted for anyone using a recent iPhone with Face ID. Some features at the bottom of the screen are very difficult to access.

No security code sent, my phone number can’t be validated. Support emails are nonresponsive. Garbage app.

I have just gotten the app about a month ago. I’ve bought 3 things. The first two the transactions went smoothly with no problem. The third one did not act as promised through the seller. Gameflip treated the problem with integrity when I disputed and for that I am most thankful. I will keep using the app. I felt heard and that someone really cared to find out the truth.

I’m sure the browser one is probably better but this is just an awful interface. I tried so hard messaging my seller so many times and it’s so buggy and hard to work with. Certain things I click don’t even work. Not to mention this is an IOS app and yet for some reason it doesn’t work for a song in option for the browser?????? Theres also no way to search up sellers??? Why is this not a thing???? Just a horrible experience where u wanted to drop money but couldn’t from how bad the interface is.

Great place to buy and sell in game items lots of buyer and seller protections to make people not scam. If they do scam the company pays you the lost dollar value.

Sell stolen gift cards. Customer service will not help. 100% a fraudulent app and scam.

I’ve seen the same reviews the same exact way on other apps of similar genres. I’m trying to find a good game app to sell my old retro games and these reviews are bull.

I bought a skin that cost 60$ got a code that was used and never got refund actually the code said it didn’t exist!! I reported it and there support was horrible n didn’t even care this happened 3 times so I realized it was a scam the whole app don’t download and I am a Google 5 star reviewer I will be destroying the whole app’s reputation after this review thanks😞🙂‍↔️

si necesitan algo con urgencia, no usen la pagina…tienen que verificar tu perfil en la primera compra, mandando foto de tu ID, y una tuya con una hoja poniendo para gameflip con tu id (selfie) que dura dias en verificar, uo xompre ayer y aun espero :/ If you need something urgently, do not use the page... you have to verify your profile on the first purchase, sending a photo of your ID, and one of you with a sheet of paper for Gameflip with your ID (selfie) that takes days to verify, or I bought it yesterday and I'm still waiting :/

This app is super easy to use and for the most part easy to navigate. I wish it was possible to directly search a seller, but other than that the app is great. Very safe to make purchases and I’ve never had any problems

Gameflip has the WORST costumer service I have ever experienced and horrible policies that allowed me to be blatantly scammed out of a huge chunk of money. I only began selling very recently and Had someone contact me asking to buy a A lot of very expensive In game items And specifically requested that I agree to give them to her within 24 hours. I wrongly trusted that Gameflip would keep me protected, so I went ahead and made the deal. After the sale went through, I immediately began trying to coordinate transfer within the game Only to have absolutely no answer for hours and hours. I finally heard back from this girl around 2 o’clock in the morning my time. I was asleep. I began Attempting to contact her At about 8 AM my time only to not hear from her until 5 PM. At this point, I had passed the 24 hour mark that I had agreed to, but that was absolutely not my fault. I tried multiple times to coordinate the transfer. In the meantime, I had been receiving notifications from Gameflip, reminding me to coordinate the transfer or else the order would be canceled. So when this person finally came on at 5 PM my time, I immediately hopped on the game and transferred the items to her… Only to have her immediately cancel the order before I could even get off the game and onto the Gameflip app. I was shocked and horrified to say the least. I immediately tried to contact Customer service only to find out there’s no phone number And no live chat option… So absolutely no way to reach someone immediately. I put in a ticket request, and after a few days I heard back and their solution was for me to create a new listing for the buyer to buy. What a joke…. Like a scammer is going to repurchase some thing they scammed me out of? I waited for days and days to hear back from them and finally heard back from them on Friday when they informed me they had never heard back from the buyer (Surprise surprise…) And could not give me my money because I had not marked the sale as delivered. I would love to know when I was supposed to do that????? She canceled the order before I could even get back on the app to do that. And once she canceled, there was absolutely no way for me to state that I had delivered the items. They took away. Any chance I had doing anything about it. I have undeniable proof that I traded her at the items and undeniable proof that she kept me waiting Past the 24 hour mark, and that I tried multiple times to coordinate with her. The fact that they allow a cancellation in that manner is horrible. In my attempt to get help with the situation, I found other people who have experienced the same thing… So clearly this is not a new scam and yet they’re doing nothing about it. I used the Gameflip platform because I thought that they would have my back and I wouldn’t be able to be scammed…. But now I no longer have the items or the hundreds of dollars that I was selling them for… These were super high value items that cost a fortune. As far as I am concerned, Gameflip has cheated me out of money I was owed, and I am seriously considering taking legal action. This cancellation policy that allows scammers to take advantage of people should not exist and Gameflip to take responsibility for their flawed policies and give me my money. I hope people take this as caution and use a different site to sell and buy related items. Gameflip is not worth the risk. I am a single mom and I was only selling those items to try And have enough money to cover bills during hard times. And Gameflip has Made my life even harder now.

I’ve used Gameflip for years and loved the deals I’ve scored. However I’ll be be discontinuing making any further purchases through them. Just like G2A they’ve lost there integrity and are solely motivated by greed. This is what there TOS states under the illegal items section: Most original digital and unused codes can be listed on Gameflip. However, the following listings are prohibited: Selling accounts, access to an account that had been registered to a specific person, or any kind of account sharing. They used to ask users to report any listing that violated there terms of service which I gladly did for years. Now they simply ignore all reports of items listed selling offline steam accounts. This is directly against there seller agreement and quite frankly is very frustrating as someone who loves browsing for deals daily. Here of late, more than 50% of all new listings under the Steam games section are listings for offline steam accounts. This is a disgusting practice they’re allowing. They used to be a good company, now simply ruined by greed.
